Galaxy Holdings Group Donates RMB 10 million to Puning Lianjiang Mother River Conservation Fund
On the morning of May 28, 2018, the founding conference of the Puning Lianjiang Mother River Conservation Fund, initiated by the People's Government of Puning City, Guangdong, was held in Puning. Galaxy Holdings Group donated RMB 10 million to the fund for the ecological conservation of the Lianjiang River basin.
Puning is the hometown of Huang Chulong, Chairman of Galaxy Holdings Group. For many years, Chairman Huang has cared deeply for his hometown and been dedicated to the benefit of it. On August 15, 2017, Galaxy Incubator, a state-level maker space, set up a branch in Puning; in September 2017, Puning Galaxy Coco City opened, injecting new momentum for Puning's regional prosperity. In addition, Chairman Huang led the establishment of the Puning Chamber of Commerce in Shenzhen and heads the organization himself. He devoted himself to building Puning Chamber of Commerce into an open platform for social interaction, investment cooperation, and public welfare, and promoting the long-term development of his hometown.
Lianjiang River is the mother river of Puning. In recent years, with the development of industry, the pollution of Lianjiang River has become increasingly serious and it has become the famous "polluted river" in the eastern part of Guangdong. Under the active promotion of Chairman Huang and others, Puning Lianjiang Mother River Conservation Fund hopes to awaken the society's awareness of ecological environmental protection, pool forces to restore the beautiful scenery of Lianjiang River soon, and promote the continuous improvement of Puning's ecological environment.
